WEBSITES USE LEGAL LOOPHOLES TO CONTEST SPEEDING CONVICTIONS
The BBC sent a crew out to visit Chris in August 2007 to explore how sites such as Case Dismissed can justify the exploitation of legal loopholes. The balance was offered by an RAC spokesperson who said that if convicted, motorists should take the punishment but agreed with Chris in that anyone has the right to offer mitigating circumstances.
The item was aired 3 times on BBC1 between 6am and 9am and was immediately picked up by BBC News 24 who ran the piece every hour through the day.
