The punishments for speeding are harsh and without the correct advice you could easily find yourself banned from driving and having to rely on public transport. Could you cope if this happened? Could you even carry on working in your current job?
If your offence isn't excessive and you receive a 'Fixed Penalty Notice' you have the option of accepting a £60 fine and a 3 point endorsement on your licence. This may sound like a reasonable option but it could impact on your insurance premium AND once you have accumulated just 12 points, you are automatically banned from driving for a minimum of 6 months and sometimes up to 2 years!
If your alleged speed was excessive (usually 30mph over the legal limit) you will not be offered the above and will just receive a summons to court once the driver of the vehicle has been confirmed.
In court, Magistrates have it within their power to impose a driving disqualification of any length (up to life) for speeding offences. Magistrates have guidelines for every crime - in the package, we include a copy of their official guidelines for speeding offences, this is something money cannot normally buy!
As a result, it is IMPERITIVE to be armed with the most accurate information if you are summoned to court. What better way than to take my advice? I was in your position very recently and after spending LOTS of time over a 12 month period researching the law, I got my case dismissed.
Courts can INCREASE Fixed Penalty Notices up to the maximum of their stated guidelines and the fines they impose are means based. I only earn a modest £20,000 per year but my fine was increased to a potential £450 PLUS COSTS... until I decided to FIGHT THE SYSTEM!
Could you cope with a fine of over a weeks salary PLUS points on your licence pushing you closer (or over!) the maximum of 12 points?
Could you cope without driving for a minimum of 6 months? How would you get to work? How would you do the weekly shop? How would you take the kids to school?
I wish I had the chance to download a package telling me how to get my case dismissed and advising me on my legal position when I got caught (allegedly) speeding! YOU HAVE GOT THIS CHANCE SO WHAT EXCUSE HAVE YOU GOT NOT TO USE IT???
